Project Overview

The BIOVERDE Refinery project is an integrated biofuel processing facility that encompasses the entire lifecycle of advanced biofuel production—from design and development to financing, construction, commissioning, and operation. This state-of-the-art facility is engineered to process a commercial quantity of biofuels, leveraging cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices to meet the growing demand for cleaner energy.

Produced from sustainable feedstocks, SAF significantly reduces carbon emissions compared to traditional jet fuel, helping airlines achieve their sustainability goals. SAF can be blended with conventional jet fuel and used in existing aircraft engines, offering a practical and immediate solution to reduce the aviation sector’s environmental impact.

Renewable diesel is a high-quality, sustainable fuel produced from renewable resources such as vegetable oils, animal fats, and waste materials. Unlike traditional biodiesel, renewable diesel is chemically identical to petroleum diesel, allowing it to be used seamlessly in any diesel engine without modifications. It offers significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants, making it a cleaner, greener alternative to conventional diesel while maintaining performance and reliability.

Biomethane is a renewable gas produced from organic waste materials through a process called anaerobic digestion.
