The BIOVERDE Refinery project is an integrated biofuel processing facility that encompasses the entire lifecycle of advanced biofuel production—from design and development to financing, construction, commissioning, and operation. This state-of-the-art facility is engineered to process a commercial quantity of biofuels, leveraging cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices to meet the growing demand for cleaner energy.
Our facility is equipped to produce a wide range of biofuels, including renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), biomethane, and bio-chemicals. These fuels are critical in reducing carbon emissions and transitioning to a low-carbon economy.

SAF is a cutting-edge biofuel explicitly designed for the aviation industry. Produced from sustainable feedstocks, SAF significantly reduces carbon emissions compared to traditional jet fuel, helping airlines achieve their sustainability goals. SAF can be blended with conventional jet fuel and used in existing aircraft engines, offering a practical and immediate solution to reduce the aviation sector’s environmental impact.
Renewable diesel is a high-quality, sustainable fuel produced from renewable resources such as vegetable oils, animal fats, and waste materials. Unlike traditional biodiesel, renewable diesel is chemically identical to petroleum diesel, allowing it to be used seamlessly in any diesel engine without modifications. It offers significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants, making it a cleaner, greener alternative to conventional diesel while maintaining performance and reliability.
Biomethane is a renewable gas produced from organic waste materials through a process called anaerobic digestion. It is a clean, renewable energy source that can be used for heating, electricity generation, and as a vehicle fuel. Biomethane is virtually identical to natural gas but with a much lower carbon footprint, making it an ideal substitute for fossil fuels in various applications.
Allied Biorefinery is also committed to producing bio-chemicals, which are derived from renewable biological sources. These bio-chemicals can be used as sustainable alternatives to traditional petrochemicals in various industrial processes, including the production of plastics, solvents, and other chemical products. By replacing fossil fuel-based chemicals with bio-based alternatives, we contribute to reducing the environmental impact of the chemical industry.
